A country girl at heart
My husband, our three beautiful children and I made Mudgee our home many years ago. We bought what is now Kelly’s Irish Pub, and that’s where our life in hospitality began.
Riverlea Cottage actually began as a bit of an experiment. At the time, I wondered whether I could earn a little extra by turning the cottage into a B&B. Then my phone went DING with our very first booking — and that was the beginning of something I never expected to love quite so much.
Over the years, my passion has grown into creating beautiful, welcoming places to stay and making sure our guests can simply arrive, relax and enjoy Mudgee. For me, it’s the little things that make a stay special — sharing our farm-fresh eggs, having a bottle of wine waiting for you, making sure there’s a port-a-cot if you need one, or recommending a favourite winery or local gem.
Whether you’re visiting as a couple, family or group of friends, I want you to feel genuinely welcome and have a wonderful stay.
